Our Purpose
CC-HOPE exists to mobilize churches, businesses, and community partners into a unified response that addresses food insecurity in Coatesville with urgency, dignity, and impact. Its purpose is to pool resources, inspire collective giving, and leverage matching partnerships that multiply every dollar raised to meet immediate needs for local families.
By aligning faith, commerce, and community around a shared mission, CC-HOPE strengthens the local safety net, ensures timely food relief, and fosters long-term collaboration that empowers the community to care for its most vulnerable neighbors.
CC-HOPE unites churches and the community to multiply resources and feed families in need.
Make A Donation
A dream came-heavy, vivid, and jarring. The kind that doesn't leave when you open your eyes. There was anguish in it. Frustration. The sounds and faces of people crying out in desperation. And when awoke, the weight of it remained, pressing down like something unfinished.
When God was asked what the dream meant, the answer was simple and specific:
"Five churches. Five thousand."
And when the question followed, "What am I supposed to do with that?" The answer was just as clear:
"Get five churches to raise $5,000. Then go to banks and businesses to match the $5,000 to feed my people."
A vision and a calling.
The timing made the urgency undeniable. SNAP benefits, a critical lifeline for countless families, were scheduled to be eliminated on November 1st. Many families have no backup plan and/or no safety net for such an absence of basic need.
What happened next was complete obedience. Churches were called. The need was shared. And one by one, something began to form out of a God-given vision that refused to be ignored.
That is how CC-HOPE was born; by a dream, a directive, and the willingness of a community to say yes.
