OUR ORIGIN

How CC-HOPE Came To Be

A dream came-heavy, vivid, and jarring. The kind that doesn't leave when you open your eyes. There was anguish in it. Frustration. The sounds and faces of people crying out in desperation. And when awoke, the weight of it remained, like something unfinished.

When God was asked what the dream meant, the answer was simple and specific:

"Five churches. Five thousand."

And when the question followed, "What am I supposed to do with that?" The answer was just as clear:

"Get five churches to raise $5,000. Then go to banks and businesses to match the $5,000 to feed my people."

A vision and a calling.

The timing made the urgency undeniable. SNAP benefits, a critical lifeline for countless families, were scheduled to be eliminated on November 1st. Many families have no backup plan and/or no safety net for such an absence of basic need.

What happened next was complete obedience. Churches were called. The need was shared. And one by one, something began to form out of a God-given vision that refused to be ignored.

That is how CC-HOPE was born; by a dream, a directive, and the willingness of a community to say yes.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Dignity

Every person who receives support through CC-HOPE is treated with respect, compassion, and honor. Food relief is given with dignity, never charity that diminishes.

Unity

No single church or organization can meet every need alone. CC-HOPE brings faith communities, businesses, and neighbors together as one coordinated force for good.

Accountability

Every dollar raised and every meal distributed is tracked with integrity. We are faithful stewards of the generosity entrusted to us by our partners and donors.

Urgency

Food insecurity cannot wait. We move quickly to coordinate relief, mobilize resources, and ensure that families receive timely help when they need it most.

Faith

Our work is grounded in the belief that faith without action is incomplete. CC-HOPE is the hands-and-feet expression of our community's call to love one another.

Impact

We measure success not in programs launched, but in families fed, burdens lifted, and a community that grows stronger through every act of shared responsibility.
